Hello we went to the Night Safari and Jurong Bird Park during the holidays because I thought Zixuan was very bored doing nothing at home and then Caleb very kindly offered to bring us both to play.
So nice....

Caleb prepared some goodies for us in his orange bag for the three of us.
I don't really have any inspiration of any way to write this post but I feel the need to in case next time Zixuan complains that we didn't bring him out to play when he was a kid.
If that comes up I could show him this entry as proof that he went to the Night Safari and Jurong Bird Park on the 28th and 29th Dec 2009.
I will also tell him that he learned many many things from the Night Safari!
Zixuan asking me if there was someone manipulating the wayang figures behind the screen.
I told him yeah the zoo people paid somebody to hide behind the screen all day for the wayang show.
See, he learnt something.
I also encouraged him to use the pots from our house to make musical instruments.
Mummy won't scold you! Really!
Zixuan if you chew bread very quickly, and spit out really quickly as well, you can blow fire out of your mouth.
Like them!
Then when your mouth is too hot you eat ice cream.
I was very annoyed that the two scoop of Ben & Jerry's ice ream costed $13.60.
And the ice cream made Zixuan cough just a little bit the next morning.
Because it is such a big deal in the house when my brother coughs, I decided to conceal the fact that the icecream from the night before might have caused the coughing.
Won't say who bought the ice cream for Zixuan.
We started touring the Night Safari.
It was darker than I expected..

This made Zixuan very afraid.

Zixuan kept saying he was scared and was groaning softly.
Cal tried to reassure him.
Cal: Zixuan don't be scared. You're a man.
Zixuan: What man?! But I'm a child!
If he says that then I guess he really does have a right to be afraid.
