I heard from my friends that some E***ff guys were running around naked (butt-naked) in celebratory mood for their win for this year's Inter-hall Games.

Maybe they were drunk, maybe they were lost, thats why they wandered into my block, ran around (still naked) and raising such a ruckus at 5am in the morning.

Siao one.

want to run around naked to celebrate also don't need to run into other people's private (not that private actually) premises right.?
Some more they did it at unearthly 5am, at this kind of timing where people are in the deepest state of sleep, which makes some of us very sad for various reasons.

Some of us were scared awake by the commotion outside their doors (***),
some were traumatized by the image of fat eusoff bellies and butts (butt-naked, remember?) and godknowswhatelse they saw in their groggy state (***** and *******),
others were gravely disappointed that they slept like a pig through all that (me and jeslyn and confirm a lot of other people).

The next night I stayed up very late in case they came again, but sadly I heard they were expelled from hostel that very day. Sian.

__

Nothing's exciting going on nowadays, the dance practices that are going on everyday are keeping me from going for night cycling and minyuan's birthday party (sorry :(. I really wanted to meet your puipui).
Yuting says it shouldn't be called a recess week at all with the amount of work we're supposed to do. Bleah.

There's even more work to do being the treasurer for this committee which means I'm handling a lot of $.

Have I already said before that I am a paranoid freak?
I imagine that signboards are going to drop and crush me to death, that my toothbrush is being used by the toilet cleaner to scrub unreachable areas, that the person doing facial for me just digged her nose before touching me etc.

Anyway, I'm quite scared that people will burgle my room. 0_0
I feel safer now that jeslyn agreed to keep the room at maximum security.
(did I just announce to the cyber world that I keep a lot of money in the room?)

So yesterday I tried to bank in the $ using the ATM.
I must have been dreaming.
To insert the ATM card at such a weird angle into the slot of the machine that it got retained inside.
By the time I realized that the hole I was inserting into was not the correct one, the card was already stuck inside where my fat finger can't reach.

Why do I do this to myself?

I have no mood to blog, but I don't feel like doing schoolwork which is killing me..
I predict my cap this sem to plunge to a new low what with the amount of admin work I have to do for hall dance and worrying about various things regarding money and whatnot.

Its gatherings like the soccer friendly we just had on saturday that makes me breathe more easily.
~phew

(Some of the photos are courteosy of YingQi, who injured her ankle. So she was the designated photographer.)

We were supposed to meet in TJ at 830am and when I reached I was greeted by this grumpy security who scolded me for wearing slippers.
He asked me where I was from and when I told him I wasn't a student here he said, "So, where are your shoes?"
And he asked me to wear my shoes immediately. :(
I tried to explain myself that I wasn't a student here already but he kept on "so?"ing so I pathetically took out my soccer boots from the shoe bag and tried to wear it.

I guess I really looked pathetic trying to put my sockless feet into the boots at the gate of TJ, he let me in and warned me not to do that again.

When I called Diana to ask her where she was, she told me she was still at her house bus stop. Slap!

The following 3 girls and almost everyone else of the seniors were late.

(Yay we get to see diana's cute face again. =D )

AND THEY DIDN'T GET IT FOR WEARING SLIPPERS FROM THE SECURITY GUARD!
NOT FAIR.
Claudia said that the security guard will assess the offence based on the offenders' looks. Sigh.

So we started playing and how glad I am to play defender!
I feel tired for the midfielders.
And I must say I am impressed with their fitness even though they claim they haven't exercised for like, a year.
Hahahaha.

Shihui ran a lot, and she is like bursting with energy la..
Diana also! Actually if you don't tell me I wouldn't know that you haven't exercised for that long because I was busy defending everytime the ball comes..
but come to think of it, the defenders were so busy because you and beks were too nua to come back to help defend.

Photobucket
Thats me on the floor, after my ankle got a shock.
And Diana and beks not offering a hand to help me up. :)
Too tired to even walk over to help me. Slap!
(Wearing blue bib because I was wearing the opponent's colour, white, instead of red. Sigh.)

Photobucket
what an inauspicious photo to take.

I am very sleepy.
Shall end the post with pictures of cute girls.

Very fast very fast.
EMCC is finally finished after merely 2 months of practising.
It was so fast and exciting I don't remember being on stage in front of the audience doing the item.
As if I lost consciousness and lay on the floor when I was just about to enter the stage and suddenly woke up and joined the rest to exit backstage after the item was finished.
Strange..
Anyway, some pictures from here and there..

Huiwen's hair is silky and smooth and long.
When she's dancing she looks like she's doing a shampoo advertisement with all the hair-action going on.
Huang Bin asked me to tell her that her hair is very nice but her steps are ok only.
Want me to get slapped right?

The actual concert for EMCC by Blast! is officially happening in about 19 hours in UCC.
My first performance in UCC, so exciting!
I hope this won't be a flop because a flop when performing with Blast! people cannot be a good thing.

I'm so glad to be in Fred and Xuzi's (people call him Susie, haha. I sometimes get this feeling that people are purposely mispronouncing chinese names because it's cooler to be unable to speak Chinese properly. silly. 华语 cool u know.) item because they are nice, dedicated and non-tantrum/temper throwing.

Today we had our second day of rehearsals with one techrun and one full dress rehearsal starting from 330pm.
I was quite sad to skip tutorial (sheeshee, I was really quite sad to skip it) and didn't want to leave class until quite late even though we had legitimate excuse letters.
I absolutely dislike skipping lectures or tutorials because I know that I won't have the discipline to self study for whatever missed, which meant that I'd know nothing about the lesson skipped until last minute mugging before exams.

But anyway I still left class 45 mins earlier and went for rehearsal.
I only had two runs but spent 5 hours there waiting for my turn to dance. Twice.
I feel like stabbing myself (but I am too hum ji to do it) for the time wasted.
So many assignments to complete and so little time left.

I wore the tube for the first time to dance and (KNN!) it kept slipping!
I wanna die when I was dancing cus I was scared that my tube will slip!
Throughout the dance I kept peeping at myself to check whether my modesty was still intact and I was so distracted I don't think I knew what I was dancing!
Its a mortal embarrassment to have your costume slip in front of audience! if it happens I think I will transfer to NTU liao!
Can you tell how scared! I was?! from the! number of exclamation marks! I am typing?!!!
(don't accuse me that I was excited about it slipping hor, don't think I duno what you're thinking... )

Anyway my tube slipped until danger zone but my conscientious/unglam tugging helped to save it.
Whew~

Tmr, I mean, later, I will use 1 times many safety pins to secure it.

I'm so tired. :(

The TH female soccer players played the Best Season in my life for soccer yesterday.
I was still having jitters the night before wondering what if, what if we couldn't defend the championship title for the fourth year.

This is our pride and joy for playing for the hall.
Looking at the scoreboard there is pressure to win the title for the 6 points that we need to maintain the lead over other halls.
And of course people are expecting us to win.

And we did.

Spectacularly.

Our first game was against Raffles Hall.
Thus started out winning
Even though Raffles Hall isn't known for its soccer (or any other sports, except handball) we didn't let up on our game and Weide called his first team for the first line-up.
We were feeling a little relaxed because it is RH.

We were reminded not to be complacent because complacency will lead to failure.

So in the game we were relentless.
Goals after goals went in due to the spontaneity of sheryl and eliza, they make the game look so easy.
So many goals happened that we lost count ourselves.

Later at night during team dinner, Weide said that RH underestimated their opponents la..

I just checked the results and it is indeed 6-0 won against RH.

The next game was one of our crucial games: TH vs KR.
KR and EH were our strongest opponents in this tournament and they were as eager to eat us up as we were to eat them up.
These two teams each had Inter-Varsity Games players with them and they were definitely not to be taken lightly.

KR vs EH yielded results of 1:0.
Which meant that KR would win the season if they beat us.
Which meant they were extra hungry to eat us!

We were all psyched up too after lunch (it made us lethargic and sleepy, next time don't eat during lunch break), recognizing that this game was make or break.

But I have to say, our players are really good.
Even though we didn't have to IVP players, the TH sporty girls who play an average of 4 sports each were very fit and had great ball sense.

We tried and tried and tried but just couldn't score, the KR team was playing a very defensive game.
After the game we were glum as if we just lost like that.. Slap everybody.
It ended with 0:0.

The next game was another triumph against KE7 which ended with 4:0.

Anybody watching us play must be damn scared.
hahaha.

The most exciting game of the season - TH vs EH.
EH team has 3 IVP players and they are all very fit and fast and skilled and scary.
I think this EH which wears yellow has conditioned me to associate yellow with Bloodlust.

This word came from Gabriel who during his pep talk before the game told us to be more aggressive because EH just lost to KR and EH would be SOOOOOO hungry to eat us.
He shared with us his experiences when he played with EH in previous Interhall games:
" An animal would just come out from me when I play with EH. Its another side of me that comes out. "
Good one.
And very true!

During both the touch rugby game and soccer when our team met with EH, this bloodlust mode was automatically switched on, just like how a shark acts when he smells blood.
I think the best games played during soccer and touch was both against EH, when we stepped up our game, gave 100% concentration x 100% hunger for blood/goal.

If I didn't remember wrongly, the goal against EH came when we took a corner kick, and sheryl ZAM the ball in when the keeper's hold on the ball slipped.
Happiest moment in the season.

That sort of determined our place in tournament with the win in the following game against sheares which I'm too lazy to type.

The freshies this year are very enterprising including sheryl and Serene the doctor who is a superb player, she's fit, skilled, plays intelligently and covers for her less able players.
Sporty girls: Eliza, Shin, Amelia, Belly, Weilin and omg almost forgot, the keeper Bridgitte is damn Zai! She saved our asses many times.

The team is zai.

I started having menstrual cramps this year and thus only found out it was menstrual cramps instead of constipation recently.
When it just started it really feels like the feces is going to travel of the colon but there is nothing when I spend a lot of precious time sitting in the toilet waiting.
It was only after multiple futile toilet trips that I confirmed with someone else that cramps feel like the going-to-shit feeling.
Waste my time la..

Anyway my computer is in an unstable condition these few days because it keeps hanging after I hibernate it and takes mother long to open files even those on the desktop.
I am very paranoid about it breaking down again like last semester.
Really should get a hard disk in case everything gets deleted again..

I had dance practice for the EMCC concert coming up this wednesday and we did some cleaning up of steps for like 2 hours plus.
Even though these sessions are essential to making the item look neat and slick, they take up so much time and is so boring and you wanna stab yourself with the little details like the 20
(instead of 30) degrees angle your hand should be at.

And the choreographer has only a pair of eyes and it happens that my blocking is right at the back so I tend to Nua behind because he can't see me.. Oops.
I think even if I roll on the floor nobody will notice it..

During this clean up sessions I realized that it may not be a bad thing that you get picked on about your steps because it means that you can actually be seen by the audience.
The more Zai dancers are frequently corrected because their actions are big and nice and usually correct so any mistake can be spotted easily.
If the choreo doesn't give you any pointers at all, maybe he can't see you at all, or all the steps are so mixed up he doesn't know how to correct or he can't stand to watch you dance
I don't really get a lot of comments..
Thats quite sad.

About happier things, I just ordered new specs from Swank (correct?) in NUS Co-op.
The same place where shee shee and Teguh bought theirs.
The two of them kept saying that I ordered it only because I see them buying so I feel like getting a pair too.

Considering that my left eye has 0 power and right eye has 75 degrees, hmm, maybe they are right.
But the uncle says I have Astig 100 and 50 degrees for left and right eye respectively.
And the part on my nose where the specs will rest on always itches, so the specs can help to sooth it.
There, purchase justified,

I like the uncle's service, as he tried many combination s of lenses and checking with me many times before deciding on the best combi.
He took out additional specs for me to browse even after I decided on a design.
For the good service, purchase justified again.

I've tried to update my blog several times but most of the time I get distracted or annoyed by all the things that I meant to blog between the previous post and this one that I simply decide to screw it la, don't want to update already.

Last Saturday I went to watch Funkamania which happened after Chingay and boy aren't I glad that my lazy bones lost to Shing's constant whining (oops, sorry Shing, hahaha but she doesn't read this blog so its ok) for me to go watch it with her.
That particular Saturday I woke up really early for soccer training from 9 to 12pm followed by Blast stressful (but fun) practice followed by floorball training from 3 to 4pm.

It looks like I'm like going for a lot of activities but it is very vexing when I have to leave early, arrive late or choose between them.
My mild OCD likes it when I attend every single minute of every single practice...
hahaha.
Aiya but it is quite sian when you train so much and the talented person next to you performs better when she appears once in 10 practices/trainings.

But its okay because I enjoy doing all these things.

Back to Funkamania, I so not regret going even though I was kind of tired. :)
The dancers of all 8 groups performed really well and their showmanship and presence on the stage is overpowering la.
My favourite of these teams is Pink Dollar$.
Check them out..

I love how gayish the dance was (according to Teguh gayish does not necessary mean that he is gay, means look like only).

I love how they slam themselves on the floor with a split, how they thrust their hips and shoulders. I LIKE ITTTT!

aiya. if I can dance like that Teguh confirm fall in love with me one..

hahaha.

Anyway, I just came back from soccer training during which we played a friendly match with KR (val's hall!).
I think it was the best friendly match we played so far even though KR had a really tight team.
I wonder what kind of sick perverted physical trainings they have to make the KR players so fit and full of stamina.
For me, I'll be huffing and puffing by the end of 5 mins, waving my hands vigorously for substitution by the end of 7 mins.

Haha good thing about our team is that we have MANY good (when i say good i mean good) players who are ever ready for the rolling substitutions.
I'm happy about that. :)
